Description

A delicious and satisfying dish featuring sticky chicken served over rice.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups jasmine rice
  • 1 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Cook the rice according to package instructions.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.
  4. Marinate the chicken thighs in the sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat.
  6. Add the marinated chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  7. Remove the chicken from the pan and let it rest for a few minutes.
  8. Slice the chicken and serve it over cooked rice.
  9. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
