Description

Delicious and soft red velvet cookies with cream cheese frosting.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream butter, sugar, and brown sugar.
  4. Add egg, food coloring, and vanilla to the butter mixture.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  6. Form dough into balls and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set.
  8. Let cookies cool on a wire rack.
  9. In a bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  10. Frost cooled cookies with cream cheese frosting.
