Description

A delicious and easy recipe for pineapple shrimp skewers.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, honey, garlic powder, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add shrimp and pineapple to the bowl and toss to coat.
  4. Thread shrimp and pineapple onto skewers alternately.
  5. Grill skewers for 2-3 minutes on each side until shrimp are cooked through.
  6. Remove from grill and serve hot.

Notes

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes before grilling.
  • Serve with a dipping sauce if desired.
  • Can substitute chicken for shrimp.
