Description

A delightful twist on classic tiramisu infused with limoncello.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup limoncello
  • 24 ladyfinger cookies
  • Zest of 2 lemons
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

Instructions

  1. Whisk egg yolks and sugar until thick.
  2. Add mascarpone cheese and mix until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  4. Fold whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  5. Mix limoncello with lemon zest.
  6. Dip ladyfingers in the limoncello mixture briefly.
  7. Layer soaked ladyfingers in a dish.
  8. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
  9. Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers.
  10. Top with the remaining mascarpone mixture.
  11. Chill for at least 4 hours.
  12. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh lemons for zest.
  • Chill overnight for better flavor.
  • Adjust limoncello to taste.
