Description

Huli Huli Chicken is a Hawaiian grilled chicken dish with a sweet and tangy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup pineapple juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, pineapple juice, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper.
  2. Marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 1 hour.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove chicken from marinade and grill for 6-8 minutes on each side.
  5. Brush with remaining marinade during grilling.
  6. Ensure chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
