Description
A delicious and spicy chicken salad with a honey twist.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 cup celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup red onion, diced
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups mixed greens
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the hot sauce and honey.
- Add shredded chicken and toss to coat.
- In another bowl, combine celery, red onion, mayonnaise, and lemon juice.
- Mix the chicken mixture with the mayonnaise mixture.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve over mixed greens.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of hot sauce to your spice preference.
- Can be served as a sandwich or in a wrap.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
