Description

A delicious chicken avocado melt sandwich with melted cheese and fresh ingredients.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1/2 avocado, sliced
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter for toasting

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Layer shredded chicken and avocado on one slice of bread.
  4. Place cheese on top of the chicken and avocado.
  5. Top with the second slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
  6. Spread butter on the outside of the sandwich.
  7. Cook in the skillet until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  8. Remove from skillet and cut in half.

Notes

  • Use whole grain bread for a healthier option.
  • Add lettuce or tomato for extra crunch.
  • Grill the sandwich for a crispy texture.
