Description
A warm and comforting soup made with delicate wontons filled with seasoned meat.
Ingredients
- Wontons – 20 pieces
- Ground pork – 200g
- Shrimp – 100g
- Green onions – 2, chopped
- Garlic – 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger – 1 tsp, grated
- Chicken broth – 6 cups
- Soy sauce – 2 tbsp
- Sesame oil – 1 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Pepper – to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground pork, shrimp, green onions, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Place a small amount of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water and fold to seal.
- In a pot, bring chicken broth to a boil.
- Add wontons to the boiling broth and cook for 5-7 minutes until they float.
- Stir in soy sauce and sesame oil.
- Serve hot, garnished with additional green onions.
Notes
- You can add vegetables like bok choy for extra nutrition.
- Adjust seasoning according to your taste.
- Use homemade broth for a richer flavor.
