- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
- 2 cups whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
- Add eggs, milk, and vanilla; mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour and baking powder; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
- Gently fold in raspberries.
- Pour batter into prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cakes cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
- Once cooled, spread raspberry jam between the layers and top with whipped cream.
