A delightful dessert salad made with strawberries, pretzels, and cream cheese.
Ingredients

- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- 1 cup crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 cups cold water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and 1/2 cup sugar in a bowl.
- Press the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Let cool.
- In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth.
- Fold in whipped topping.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
- Dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water.
- Add cold water and stir.
- Add sliced strawberries to the gelatin mixture.
- Pour the gelatin mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Refrigerate until set, about 4 hours.
Notes
- Ensure the pretzel crust is completely cool before adding the cream cheese layer.
- You can use fresh or frozen strawberries.
- For a sweeter taste, adjust the sugar in the cream cheese mixture.
