Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, sugar, spices, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine applesauce, almond milk, molasses, and oil.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- Pour batter into a greased cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before serving.
