Ingredients

- 1 cup cashews, soaked for 4 hours
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
Instructions
- Drain and rinse the soaked cashews.
- In a blender, combine cashews, nutritional yeast, water, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and turmeric.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Transfer to a container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to firm up.
Notes
- Use raw cashews for the best texture.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
- This cheese can be used in recipes or as a spread.
