A simple recipe for vegan bounty bars that mimic the classic chocolate coconut treat.
Ingredients

- 200g desiccated coconut
- 150g coconut milk
- 100g maple syrup
- 200g dark chocolate (vegan)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix desiccated coconut, coconut milk, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Press the mixture into a lined baking dish to form a bar shape.
- Chill in the fridge for 1 hour until firm.
- Once set, cut into bars.
- Melt dark chocolate in a microwave or double boiler.
- Dip each bar into the melted chocolate, coating thoroughly.
- Place bars on parchment paper and let the chocolate set.
- Store in the fridge until ready to serve.
Notes
- Use full-fat coconut milk for creaminess.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less maple syrup.
- Experiment with toppings like nuts or seeds.
