Description

A simple dish made with bell peppers, rice, and ground meat.


Ingredients

  • 4 bell peppers
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds.
  3. In a skillet, cook the ground beef and onion until browned.
  4. Add cooked rice, diced tomatoes, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Stuff the mixture into each bell pepper.
  6. Place stuffed peppers in a baking dish and cover with foil.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, then remove foil and top with cheese.
  8. Bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted.

Notes

  • Feel free to use turkey or chicken instead of beef.
  • Add your favorite vegetables to the mixture.
  • Use different types of cheese for variety.
