A delicious cake inspired by the classic Twinkie snack.
Ingredients

- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup whipped cream cheese
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, water, and oil until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- In another bowl, blend the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until creamy.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled cake.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
- Can be topped with chocolate or caramel sauce.
- For a more intense flavor, add lemon zest to the cream cheese mixture.
