Description

A creamy and rich mac and cheese infused with truffle oil for a gourmet twist.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup truffle oil
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Whisk in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Slowly add milk and cream, stirring constantly until thickened.
  5. Add cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until melted.
  6. Mix in truffle oil, salt, and pepper.
  7. Add the cooked macaroni and stir to combine.
  8. Transfer to a baking dish and bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.

Notes

  • Adjust truffle oil to your taste.
  • Can add breadcrumbs on top for crunch.
