- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 sausages
- 2 large onions, sliced
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 cups beef stock
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until tender.
- Drain and mash the potatoes with butter and milk.
- Cook the sausages in a skillet until browned and cooked through.
- Remove sausages and add sliced onions to the skillet, cooking until soft.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute.
- Gradually add beef stock, stirring until thickened.
- Season gravy with salt and pepper.
- Serve sausages over mashed potatoes topped with onion gravy.
