Ingredients

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup melted dark chocolate

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together.
  4. Add eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla; mix well.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
  7. Stir in the melted dark chocolate and chocolate chips.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
  9. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Let the cake cool before serving.
