Instructions
- Heat the tomato soup in a large pot over medium heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and garlic powder.
- Add melted butter and milk to the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.
- Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and basil.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling batter into the simmering soup.
- Cover and cook for 15 minutes until dumplings are cooked through.
