Description

Grilled tofu vegetable kabobs are a healthy and delicious dish, perfect for summer barbecues.


Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu, pressed and cubed
  • 1 bell pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 zucchini, sliced
  • 1 red onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add tofu and vegetables to the bowl and toss until coated.
  4. Thread tofu and vegetables onto skewers, alternating each.
  5. Place skewers on the grill and cook for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally.
  6. Remove from grill and serve hot.

Notes

  • You can use any vegetables you prefer.
  • Soaking wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes prevents them from burning.
  • Serve with rice or a salad for a complete meal.
