- 4 chicken thighs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 4 sandwich buns
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup sliced cucumber
- 1/4 cup Thai chili sauce
Instructions
- Marinate chicken thighs in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne, salt, and pepper.
- Coat marinated chicken in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Toast sandwich buns until golden.
- Assemble the sandwich with fried chicken, lettuce, cucumber, and chili sauce.
Notes
- Adjust spice level by varying cayenne pepper amount.
- Use a thermometer to ensure chicken is cooked to 165°F.
- Serve with extra chili sauce on the side.
