Description

Thai basil beef rolls are a flavorful dish combining tender beef and aromatic Thai basil wrapped in rice paper.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh Thai basil leaves
  • 1 cup rice paper wrappers
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 cucumber, julienned
  • 1 carrot, julienned

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and beef, cook until beef is browned.
  3. Stir in soy sauce, fish sauce, and lime juice.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool.
  5. Soak rice paper in warm water until soft.
  6. Place basil, beef mixture, cucumber, and carrot on rice paper.
  7. Roll tightly to enclose filling.
  8. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
