- 1 medium butternut squash, peeled and cubed
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Peel and cube the butternut squash.
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, maple syrup, salt, pepper, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- Add the butternut squash to the bowl and toss to coat.
- Spread the squash on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes, until tender and caramelized.
- Remove from the oven and serve warm.
