Description

A rich and creamy cheesecake made with sweet potatoes.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups sweet potato puree
  • 1 1/2 cups cream cheese
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pre-made graham cracker crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix sweet potato puree and cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Add sugar, sour cream, eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into the graham cracker crust.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until set.
  6. Let cool, then refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Use fresh or canned sweet potatoes.
  • Serve with whipped cream on top.
