- 2 cups crushed pretzels
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- 1 package (6 oz) strawberry gelatin
- 2 cups boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar in a bowl.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then let it cool completely.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in the whipped topping until combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
- In another bowl, dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water.
- Add sliced strawberries to the gelatin mixture.
- Pour the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- Ensure the pretzel crust is completely cooled before adding the cream cheese layer.
- Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
- This dessert can be made a day in advance.
