Description

A delicious twist on the classic Pop Tart, this Strawberry Pop Tart Pie is filled with sweet strawberry jam and topped with a flaky crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 cup of strawberry jam
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • Sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out one pie crust and place it in a pie dish.
  3. Spread the strawberry jam evenly over the crust.
  4. Roll out the second pie crust and place it over the jam.
  5. Seal the edges and cut slits in the top crust for ventilation.
  6. Brush the top with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Let it cool before icing.
  9. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the icing.
  10. Drizzle icing over the pie and add sprinkles.

Notes
