A light and creamy strawberry mousse that is perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Puree the strawberries in a blender.
- Mix the strawberry puree with sugar and lemon juice.
- In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
- Gently fold the strawberry mixture into the whipped cream.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Serve in dessert cups and garnish with fresh strawberries.
Notes
- Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor.
- This mousse can be made a day in advance.
- For a lighter version, substitute half of the cream with yogurt.
