Delicious strawberry honey custard tarts with a buttery crust.

- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg yolk
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, butter, powdered sugar, and salt.
- Add egg yolk and mix until dough forms.
- Press the dough into tart pans.
- Bake for 15 minutes until golden.
- In a saucepan, heat honey, cream, and milk until warm.
- Whisk eggs and vanilla in a bowl.
- Slowly add the warm mixture to the eggs, whisking continuously.
- Pour custard into tart shells.
- Bake for 25 minutes until set.
- Let cool and top with strawberries.
Notes
- Serve chilled for best flavor.
- Can substitute honey with sugar if desired.
- Use any berries for topping.
