Description

Delicious strawberry cinnamon rolls with a twist of cinnamon and cream cheese icing.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup strawberries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  3. Add flour, sugar, butter, salt, and cinnamon to the yeast mixture.
  4. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  5. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  7. Spread softened cream cheese over the dough.
  8. Evenly distribute chopped strawberries on top.
  9. Roll the dough tightly and cut into slices.
  10. Place slices in a greased baking dish and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  11. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  12. Mix powdered sugar with a little milk to make icing and drizzle over rolls before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add vanilla extract to the cream cheese icing.
  • You can substitute fresh strawberries with frozen ones if needed.
