A fun and easy treat combining strawberries and bananas on skewers with pancake bites.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup sliced strawberries
- 1 cup sliced bananas
- Wooden skewers
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat and grease it.
- Pour small amounts of batter onto the skillet to form pancakes.
- Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden.
- Allow pancakes to cool slightly.
- Thread pancakes, strawberries, and bananas onto skewers alternately.
Notes
- Use ripe bananas for better flavor.
- Skewers can be soaked in water to prevent burning.
- Serve with maple syrup or honey for dipping.
