Description

A fun and easy treat combining strawberries and bananas on skewers with pancake bites.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries
  • 1 cup sliced bananas
  • Wooden skewers

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, egg, and melted butter.
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and grease it.
  5. Pour small amounts of batter onto the skillet to form pancakes.
  6. Cook until bubbles form, then flip and cook until golden.
  7. Allow pancakes to cool slightly.
  8. Thread pancakes, strawberries, and bananas onto skewers alternately.
