- 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
- 1 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the jasmine rice according to package instructions.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
- Add chicken thighs to the marinade and let it sit for 30 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the marinated chicken.
- Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until fully cooked.
- Remove chicken from skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Slice the chicken and serve it over the cooked rice.
- Drizzle remaining sauce over the chicken and rice.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate chicken overnight.
- Serve with steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
