Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the jasmine rice according to package instructions.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
  3. Add chicken thighs to the marinade and let it sit for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the marinated chicken.
  5. Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until fully cooked.
  6. Remove chicken from skillet and let it rest for a few minutes.
  7. Slice the chicken and serve it over the cooked rice.
  8. Drizzle remaining sauce over the chicken and rice.
  9. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
