These St. Patrick’s Day sugar cookies are fun and festive. They are perfect for celebrating the holiday.
Ingredients

- 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 3 to 4 drops green food coloring
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
- In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add egg, vanilla extract, almond extract, and food coloring. Mix well.
- Gradually blend in the dry ingredients.
- Roll the dough into balls and place on a baking sheet.
- Flatten each ball with a glass.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes. Let cool.

- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- Use different food coloring for variety.
- Decorate with icing for more fun.
