Ingredients
- Chicken wings: 1 kg (about 2.2 lbs)
- Soy sauce: 1/2 cup (120 ml)
- Gochujang: 1/4 cup (60 g)
- Honey: 1/4 cup (60 ml)
- Rice vinegar: 2 tablespoons (30 ml)
- Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
- Ginger: 1 tablespoon, grated

- Salt: 1 teaspoon (5 g)
- Black pepper: 1/2 teaspoon (2 g)
- Cornstarch: 1/4 cup (30 g)
- Vegetable oil: for frying

Instructions
- Marinate the chicken wings by rinsing them under cold water, patting them dry, and mixing the marinade ingredients in a bowl. Coat the wings and refrigerate for at least one hour.
- Prepare the spicy sauce by boiling the reserved marinade in a saucepan for about five minutes to thicken it.
- Coat the marinated wings with cornstarch and fry them in hot vegetable oil for 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Toss the fried wings in the thickened spicy sauce and garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
- For a healthier option, consider baking or grilling the wings instead of frying.
- Adjust the spice level by modifying the amount of gochujang used in the marinade.
- Marinate the wings overnight for enhanced flavor.
