Instructions

- In a large pot, combine water, brown sugar, butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Add sweet potatoes and stir to coat.
- Transfer the sweet potatoes and syrup to a baking dish.
- Bake for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
