This is a simple recipe for delicious sourdough garlic bread.


Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of sourdough bread
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Slice the sourdough bread in half lengthwise.
  4. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves.
  5. Wrap the bread in aluminum foil.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Remove from the oven, unwrap, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add grated Parmesan cheese on top.
  • You can use dried herbs if fresh parsley is not available.
