Delicious sourdough discard cinnamon rolls that are easy to make.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sourdough discard
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, combine sourdough discard, milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.
- Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread brown sugar and cinnamon on the rolled dough.
- Roll the dough tightly and slice into rolls.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- These rolls freeze well.
- Adjust sweetness to your taste.
