Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sourdough discard
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, combine sourdough discard, milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla.
  4. Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Roll the dough into a rectangle.
  6. Spread brown sugar and cinnamon on the rolled dough.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and slice into rolls.
  8. Place rolls in a greased baking dish.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Cool slightly before serving.
