- 1 cup sourdough starter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and line an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix together sourdough starter, sugar, and melted butter.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, and mix until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before cutting into squares.
