Description

A hearty slow cooker Hungarian goulash with tender beef and rich flavors.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs beef chuck, cut into cubes
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 carrots, sliced
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the beef with salt and pepper.
  2. In the slow cooker, combine beef, onions, garlic, paprika, and caraway seeds.
  3. Add bell pepper, carrots, beef broth, and diced tomatoes.
  4. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  6. Serve hot with bread or noodles.
