Delicious slow cooker French onion meatballs with rich flavor.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 packet French onion soup mix
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper until combined.
- Form mixture into meatballs.
- Place meatballs in slow cooker.
- In a separate bowl, mix beef broth and French onion soup mix. Pour over meatballs.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.
- In the last 30 minutes, sprinkle mozzarella cheese over meatballs and cover until melted.
Notes
- Serve with crusty bread or over pasta.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
- Can freeze cooked meatballs for up to 2 months.
