Description

A rich and creamy dish made with chicken, tomatoes, and basil cooked slowly for maximum flavor.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Add diced tomatoes, chicken broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  4. Remove the chicken and shred it.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese into the slow cooker.
  6. Add shredded chicken and basil back to the slow cooker.
  7. Mix well and cook for an additional 30 minutes on low.

Notes

  • Serve with pasta or rice for a complete meal.
  • Can substitute heavy cream with coconut milk for a lighter option.
