Ingredients

- 1 lb skirt steak
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add sliced onion and bell pepper. Sauté until softened.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Season skirt steak with salt and pepper.
- Cook steak in the pan for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Remove steak from heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
- Slice steak against the grain.
- Serve steak over rice and top with sautéed vegetables.
- Drizzle with soy sauce before serving.
Notes
- You can add other vegetables like broccoli or carrots.
- For extra flavor, marinate the steak before cooking.
