Description

A delicious blend of shrimp and lobster in a creamy sauce topped with cheddar bay biscuits.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound lobster meat, chopped
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrot, diced
  • 1/2 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 package cheddar bay biscuit mix
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add onion, celery, and carrot. Sauté until soft.
  4. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Stir in shrimp and lobster. Cook until shrimp turns pink.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Add Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  7. Simmer for 5 minutes, then stir in peas.
  8. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
  9. Prepare the cheddar bay biscuit mix according to package instructions.
  10. Drop spoonfuls of biscuit dough over the seafood mixture.
  11. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  12. Bake for 25-30 minutes until biscuits are golden brown.
