Description

A delicious and easy recipe for sesame chicken bowls.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 pound chicken breast, diced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Steamed broccoli, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook rice according to package instructions.
  2. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add diced chicken and cook until golden brown.
  5. Pour sauce mixture over the chicken and simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. Stir in sesame seeds and cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Serve chicken over rice with steamed broccoli and garnish with green onions.
