Description
A delicious dish of seared scallops served in a spicy cajun cream sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 pound scallops
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pat the scallops dry with paper towels.
- Season scallops with salt, pepper, and half the cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add scallops to the skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove scallops and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir in the remaining cajun seasoning.
- Let the sauce simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add scallops back to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Ensure scallops are dry for a good sear.
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- Pair with pasta or rice for a complete meal.
