Description

A hearty dish of sausage, sauerkraut, and potatoes.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb sausage
  • 2 cups sauerkraut
  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add onions and sausage, cooking until browned.
  3. Add potatoes and stir for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
  5. Add sauerkraut and reduce heat to simmer.
  6. Cover and cook for 30 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
  7. Season with salt and pepper before serving.
