Description

A hearty sausage and egg casserole perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1 cup diced onions
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  4. Add cooked sausage, cheese, bell peppers, and onions to the egg mixture. Stir to combine.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • You can use any type of sausage you prefer.
  • Add vegetables of your choice for more flavor.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
