Salisbury steak meatballs are a hearty dish made from ground beef, seasoned and cooked in a savory gravy.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into meatballs.
- In a skillet, brown the meatballs on all sides.
- Remove meatballs and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add beef broth and bring to a simmer.
- Mix cornstarch with water and add to the broth, stirring until thickened.
- Add the meatballs back to the skillet and cook for 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with gravy over the meatballs.
Notes
- Serve with mashed potatoes or rice.
- You can add mushrooms to the gravy for extra flavor.
