- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 orange, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the mixture all over the chicken, including under the skin.
- Place the chicken in a roasting pan and drizzle with olive oil.
- Arrange orange slices around the chicken.
- Roast the chicken for about 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
