A simple and flavorful roasted orange chicken recipe.
Ingredients

- 1 whole chicken (3–4 lbs)
- 2 oranges, juiced and zested
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine orange juice, zest, garlic, soy sauce, honey, olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Place the chicken in a roasting pan and pour the marinade over it.
- Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
- You can use chicken parts instead of a whole chicken.
- Adjust the honey for sweetness to your preference.
- Serve with rice or vegetables.
