Description

A simple and flavorful roasted orange chicken recipe.


Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken (34 lbs)
  • 2 oranges, juiced and zested
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine orange juice, zest, garlic, soy sauce, honey, olive oil, salt, pepper, and paprika.
  3. Place the chicken in a roasting pan and pour the marinade over it.
  4. Let the chicken marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Roast the chicken in the preheated oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
  7. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

  • You can use chicken parts instead of a whole chicken.
  • Adjust the honey for sweetness to your preference.
