Description

A rich and indulgent dessert that combines chocolate cake, cream cheese, and Reese’s peanut butter cups.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup Reese’s peanut butter cups, chopped
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Pour half of the batter into a greased 9×13 inch pan.
  4. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter.
  6. Sprinkle peanut butter and chopped Reese’s cups on top.
  7. Pour the remaining cake batter over the top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Let cool before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
  • Can be served warm or cold.
  • Top with whipped cream for extra flavor.
